I have had a long term interest in photography, however began a more serious approach in 2012. My initial motivation was to create images of the delicate terrestrial orchids that grow naturally in the south west of Western Australia. I have since expanded photography to wildlife, landscapes, and a broader range of Australian plants. I have developed an increasing emphasis on perspective, bokeh and intentional camera movement for creative abstract images. Recently I have explored aerial photography. When restricted to the home setting I have dabbled in Still Life Photography. My hope is that the images will contribute in some way to an increased awareness and conservation of the unique flora, fauna, and landscapes of Australia.  A creative in camera process underpins my work.
